“FOL Hapur” with Mr. Sokol Haliti- Mayor of Municipality of Vitia
Kabash, April 27th, 2016. With the support of Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, Lëvizja FOL held a discussion in the “FOL Hapur”format with mayors of municipalities. This discussion was held with the mayor of Vitia in the village Kabash.
Petrit Zogaj, executive director of Lëvizja FOL presented the findings of the research Lëvizja FOL conducted on capital investments in Vitia for these past two years, in four largest villages in Vitia with the biggest population, as well as citizen’s requests for investments.
According to him, part of this research were four villages: Beguncë, Kabash, Pozhoran and Smirë, and that these requests will be sent to the municipality for the possibility of investment after revising the current budget and the budget for the next year.
The mayor of Vitia, Mr. Sokol Haliti, presented the investments of the municipality and promised that after revising the current budget and with the budget of the next year, there will be more opportunities for investments.
