The Meeting of the Assembly of Members: Petrit Zogaj elected Executive Director

Prishtina, September 2, 2011- According the Law on Freedom of Association in the Republic of Kosovo and the statutes of the organization, on August 27, 2011, was held the meeting of the Assembly of Members of the Movement FOL, which is the main decision making body in the organization. At this meeting was approved the semiannual report and financial report for the period January-June 2011.

During the period January to June 2011, FOL has conducted 10 different publications (Reports and Analysis), 5 press conferences, 14 round tables in the central and local level, coordinated two joint Civil Society statements, a public reaction , signed a memorandum of understanding for monitoring procurement with the Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Public Administration and the Ministry of Health and organized two “Karl Popper” debate tournaments with high school students, one in Peja and one in Vushtrri.

At this meeting was elected the new Director of the Movement FOL and also the new Board of the organization. With 17 votes pro and 3 abstentions, Petrit Zogaj was elected new director of the Movement FOL. By unanimous votes the new member of the Advisory Board are elected Mrs. Valdete Idrizi, Mr. Genc Salihu, Mr. Gezim Visoka and Mr. Halil Matoshi.
Petrit Zogaj is co-founder of Movement FOL and so far has been assigned as Program Manager. Petrit graduated in Political Science at the University of Pristina.
