Attacking EULEX is Attacking Justice

Prishtina, September 19, 2013 – FOL Movement condemns the attack on EULEX Mission in Kosovo, where as a consequence a member of this mission was shot. We express our sincere condolences to the family of the victim and to Lithuania. FOL requires investigations of this case and bring the perpatratiors for trial as soon as possible.

We also, ask the local and international institutions to take immediate actions for all the crimes and murders that have been committed in the north of Kosovo, where for 14 years this part of the country has served as a shelter for criminals and murderers. Crime in that part does not recognize any government, local or international, and consequently there are cases like this happened today.

Political developments of this year should also remind Kosovo authorities, including EULEX to take control of the situation, because, Kosovo institutions have signed and ratified in the assembly international agreements.

Therefore, it is the last moment that the signatories of the agreements and those who guaranteed these agreements make clear to criminal structures in the north of the country that they soon will be accountable and responsible for their actions for more than a decade.
